Director, Student Counseling Services

Student Counseling Services (SCS) at Mississippi State University (MSU) is pleased to announce a position for Director of Student Counseling Services. The Director position requires a clinical or counseling psychologist who is licensed or license-eligible in the state of Mississippi requiring licensing within one year of employment. The SCS Director reports to the Executive Director of University Health Services and serves in the Division of Student Affairs. A full position description may be accessed by clicking on this link.

Student Counseling Services staff are responsible for providing individual, group, and couples counseling to students, and crisis response through the after-hours emergency rotation. The SCS staff currently consists of a Director, ten full time clinicians, four part-time clinicians, three clinical doctoral Graduate Assistants, an Administrative Assistant, and an Office Associate. Experience working within a university counseling center is required.
