Social Media Campaign Assessment for The MS Coalition of Partners in Prevention (MCPP) Alcohol and Suicide Awareness

  • Social Media Campaign was offered to all coalition schools
  • Began when return of students in the fall of 2016 and ended in Dec 2016
  • Hard copy posters were distributed at summer workshops for all member campuses
  • Social media messages were sent electronically to all coalition schools in August 2016
  • Members of the coalition chose to participate or not
  • Members of the coalition are: All MS Universities and Community Colleges
  • Assessment was created by MSU Student Affairs Assessment Staff - Brian Peace
  • Media campaign and posters were designed by University of MS students and staff - committee for media for MCPP
  • Assessment was distributed on email with agenda for 1/28 conference call
  • Asking for 50 assessments administered per participant school
  • Assessment will be used for program review purposes only, no research involved
  • All participant schools will submit completed assessments to MSU as the lead agency of the coalition
